Each Earthwise reusable sanitary pad consists of a leakproof PUL backing layer in a colour or print, a 2 layer microfibre core, and a top layer of microfleece next to the skin (charcoal on the Celestial and Charcoal Flowers sets, white on all other sets). These medium sanitary pads are suitable for regular flow, and can also be used as back up when using a cup or sponge.

I have 2 teenage daughters and they both prefer washable pads to disposable ones. They have several brands but Earthwise are our favourites. The fabric is soft and comfortable and they wash well and dry quicker than other brands we have tried.

Well I previously reviewed these with four stars because they have plenty enough capacity but I find I have to be careful to pull them right forward or risk a leak, however, they absolutely get 5 stars for washability! I've recently been in a situation where only hand washing was available, a rinse under the hot tap and then a rub with a bar of soap and more rinsing got them about as clean as they'd be from the washing machine. I also have some of a different brand (organic cotton) and these earthwise ones are streets ahead for coming clean. If I need any more I'll come back for the same again, albeit maybe a longer size.

Initially sceptical that a white pad would come out of the wash clean, I was pleased to see how clean and white they come up. My only problem has been that for me I don't know if they slide down or just need the poppers a bit further back, even pulled forward as far as possible to start with, they leak at the front although they are more than big enough so should be able to handle an overnight. I wasn't sure what shape would suit best. Will be looking for something a bit wider and longer to the front for overnight.

Great price, very absorbent, easy to clean, quick drying, the only downside is sometimes they can move around a bit.

Can't recommend these enough! They are super soft, incredibly absorbent and easy to wash. I have very heavy periods and used to use a ridiculous number of disposable pads each month, but these work well for hours and hours. I've had them for three years and they're still like new. Plus, it's buy 3 donate 1, so I know my purchase helped someone else as well!

These are so great. Really comfortable and super absorbant. Clean well after a soak and can get any stubborn stains out with Ecover stain remover very easily. Better than some other makes I've tried as the wing material is different to that of the absorptive bit so I haven't experienced these ones leaking into the wings. Bought in all sizes.

I've been using these for nearly a year and they are still in great condition - they are soooo soft and are now less soft, but still softer in comparison to a single use pad!

I bought these as my first set of reusable pads, and I have been fairly impressed with them.
Positives: They are 100% waterproof, and very absorbent. They clean up well after a soak in cold water/vinegar, then through a quick wash. I've had these now for well over a year and they are still in super good condition, maybe just not quite as soft 🙂 no other changes!
The main downside which I think might be fixable, is that the way the pads secure only in the middle means that sometimes I find that the pad will rotate to one side, which can result in bleeding outwith the absorbant pad. However, every single absorbant pad I have seen has the same design - securing in the middle only. The other major downside is having to carry around a used pad if I am out for the day and need to change it, but this is something that comes with reusable pads, and I don't see any way around it... So I purchased some smell-proof zip lock bags and take those out with me to keep them in until I can wash them.
Even with these downsides, the positives are far greater! They're a wonderful product that I will continue to use and recommend to all! 😀
Tip: If you think you're apprehensive about carrying around a used reusable pad outside, then use them only at night, or only when at home, even then you will greatly reduce your waste, and who knows, maybe you'll see it isn't so bad after all 😀

These pads are awesome! Super comfy and absorbent. I bought the medium size initially, really loved them so bought the large for nighttime! I recommend these for people starting out with reusable pads, you won’t look back !

Absolutely love these pads. I initially bought a mixed size pack to see what size suited me best and decided on the medium. After using the mixed pack for a few months, I bought a couple of packs of these medium multicoloured pads. They are so soft and comfy, they wash brilliantly, and I love not having to throw disposable products away every month. Gorgeous fabrics and pretty colours cheer me up every time!
